Forum Auctions has welcomed Vicki Wonfor as its new CEO, joining founding directors Stephan Ludwig, Rupert Powell and Poppy Walker.
The appointment coincides with the firm’s ninth anniversary of its first sale in July 2016. Over the intervening years Forum - a London-based specialist auction house for rare books, manuscripts, and other works on paper - has held nearly 500 auctions, hammering £100,000,000 from 80,000 lots to 40,000 buyers.
"Vicki’s tremendous experience in the industry positions Forum optimally for expansion as we enter our tenth year," said Ludwig, Forum’s executive chairman.
"It’s a privilege to take on the role of CEO as Forum builds on a decade of consistent growth," said Wonfor. "The market is shifting, with digital platforms reshaping how collectors, particularly younger audiences, engage with material culture. Editions and contemporary collectibles are important entry points, and we see significant opportunity in these and other emerging sectors."
