UK Rare Book Collectors' Conference in the Pipeline

Fine Book Fairs

Fine Book Fairs is gauging interest in the possibility of running The UK Rare Book Collectors' Conference in 2026.

The prospective dates are June 19 through June 21 at the Grade II listed Knowsley Hall, home of the Earl and Countess of Derby and originally a medieval hunting lodge.

Attendees would receive exclusive access to the house and the opportunity to dine with Lord and Lady Derby, staying for two nights in 16 well appointed bedrooms. During their stay they would be able to view the magnificent art and book collecting housed at Knowsley where the 13th Earl put together an impressive collection of natural history titles in the early 19th century.

The programme of events has not yet been finalised but would include experts discussing how to develop and refine book collections, plus offering the opportunity to meet other rare book enthusiasts.

Spaces are limited with details are available on enquiry. The event will only go forward if Fine Book Fairs receives sufficient interest.

Fine Books Fairs was founded in 2022 by Eve and Edward Lemon who have since run successful events in New York, Washington DC., and Philadelphia.
